Kathryn Thomas has opened up about marriage, admitting those closest to her thought she’d never walk down the aisle.
While she may have been a bridesmaid seven times, it’s now her turn to tie the knot, as she’s set to marry her long-term love Padraig McLoughlin next year.
Kathryn is struggling to decide whether she wants one woman by her side at the alter, or a larger bridal party. One thing’s for sure though; her sister will definitely be up there.
“Linda is my bridesmaid,” she told RSVP Magazine.
“I have been a bridesmaid seven times. I am the one with seven bridesmaid dresses in the cupboard and everyone thought it wasn’t going to happen for me.
“I’ll either have ten bridesmaids or keep it to just Linda. All of my mates are so excited and they will all be involved anyway.”
Meanwhile, just last week the RTE star revealed she’d expecting her first child.
Taking to social media, Kathryn said, “Excited to let you know myself and Padraig are adding to our little family.
“We’re over the moon and I feel extremely blessed that I am pregnant.
“Our next baby might not be as hairy or have a tail like these two but will be equally as cute. Roll on spring time 2018.”
It’ll certainly be an exciting year for the happy couple!
