Celebrity Operation Transformation will be coming back to our screens next Wednesday, September 6th, and the shows host Kathryn Thomas has been having her say on this year’s leaders ahead of the big return.
Social media star James Patrice, singer Mary Byrne, Voice of Ireland contestant Kayleigh Cullinan, Celebrity chef Gary O’Hanlon and beauty guru Triona McCarthy are the five stars looking to inspire the nation.
Kathryn, who took over as the show’s presenter in 2011, has revealed that she thinks the celebrities asked to take part this year are brilliant.
“There’ll be a lot of fireworks for sure!” she told TV Now magazine.
“They’re all really serious about wanting to lose weight and wanting to change their lifestyles while learning new things.
“They are a very fiery bunch though, and very competitive. This is a big opportunity for a lot of people and they understand the huge power of the show.
“Triona and James have a huge following online and the good thing about being a social media star is that you already know how to put yourself out there and be honest, and that’s why they’re successful.”
