Karen Koster has revealed her most embarrassing tv moment to date.
The 36-year-old presenter said that a pole dancing segment on Xpose was a particularly cringeworthy moment in her tv career.
Karen was trying out the fitness regime that Britney Spears was said to be crazy about, and reportedly even wanted one in her Dublin hotel room during a gig.
The clip features Karen sliding up a pole demonstrating how it’s done.
“Back when I was younger, I did a feature on pole dancing for Xpose and it probably wasn’t the most flattering piece ever, given how ungainly I was on the pole,” she told TV Now.
She previously told the Irish Mirror that her now husband’s family went to look her up and found the clip.
“One of John’s aunties asked him which of the Xpose girls I was and when she googled my name, the episode where I’m poledancing came up.
“So she saw me throwing myself around some pole in a Blackrock bar, I think letting my guard down over the years has been an eye opener, but it was good craic at the time.”
Thankfully the 36-year-old said she is more confident now and wouldn’t be as easily embarrassed now.
“I’m gradually morphing into a crazy old lady who doesn’t give a hoot anymore, so it now takes a lot to embarrass me.”
