Jon Hamm has revealed that he is not impressed with his former co-star Chris O’ Dowd, after the Irishman broke a promise.
Having worked together on Bridesmaids and Friends with Kids in 2011, the pair got to know each other quite well.
But Jon now says that Chris let him down after promising him a spot on his show Moone Boy, which is now no longer being made.
“I love Chris, I’ve always thought he was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Loved working with him. But you know, things change. I thought Chris had my back, I really did,” he joked.
“He was doing this show, Moone Boy in Ireland. It was perfect, shot there, right in the middle of Ireland. I was like, ‘this is perfect for me’ and he was like, ‘we’re going to make this happen.’
“I’m all psyched, really excited. I’m finally going to get to work there, never done that before, packing my bags. And I never get that call. Nothing. Then I hear the show’s done, he’s not writing any more. I never got my part,” he told the Irish Sun
“It’s changed how I look at that gorgeous man. He betrayed me, betrayed my trust. I’ll eventually move on. But it hurts.”
Let’s hope Chris can squeeze Jon into his next project so they can get their friendship back on track!
