Jeremy McConnell has been released from prison, after serving only 34 days of his 20 week sentence.
The Celebrity Big Brother star was originally sentenced to a 20 week suspended sentence, as well as 200 hours of community service. However since he broke the terms of his sentence, and missed 8 shifts of community service, he was sent to HMP Cardiff in Wales last month.
Today, The Sun reports that the Dubliner has been released with an electronic tag and must adhere to a curfew.
After leaving jail, Jeremy posted on his Instagram account, “Thanks for all your messages. I’ve read so much lies and it’s incredible. Have a good New Year.”
The 27-year-old was originally charged with assaulting ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis in August of this year.
According to The Metro, Stephanie told the court that he “completely destroyed” her life, before adding, “It’s been the worst 18 months of my life.”
