One of the most highly anticipated matches of the year took place yesterday, and after an impressive performance from both sides Dublin narrowly secured their first All-Ireland senior football double since 1977 -leaving Dublin fans elated and Mayo fans disappointed.
The final score of the replay was Dublin1-15 Mayo 1-14 and Irish stars were quick off the mark to give their two cents on the match
Although some were left bitterly disappointed, the majority of Irish celebrities were delighted with the result and took to Twitter to share their sentiments.
