Irish actor Allen Leech has announced that he and his girlfriend are engaged.
The Downton Abbey and Man About Dog star revealed the exciting news on Valentine’s Day.
Taking to Instagram Allen shared a stunning photo of himself and his wife-to-be Jessica Blair Herman.
Jessica is also an actor, best known for her work in American Crime Story. She has also starred in Modern Family and Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23.
Alongside the gorgeous photo in which Jessica shows off her ring, Allen explained that he did not pop the question on the day of love.
He said: “Happy Valentine’s Day Jessica. First one as a fiancé! Thank you for saying yes and for making me the happiest. (And no I didn’t do it today. It’s been a while.) xx”
Jessica shared a similar sentiment a post that said: “The day you proposed was one of the best days but every day with you is my favourite. I love you! Happy Valentine’s Day Allen!”
The couple has been dating for about two years.
