Imelda May has had quite the week, as she debuted her theatrical skills in a new production of Mother of All the Behans.

Yes, the singer took to the stage of the 3Olympia for opening night earlier this week where she blew fans away with her incredible portrayal of Kathleen Behan.

Based on the book by Brian Behan, the production has been adapted and directed for the stage by Peter Sheridan and traces the story of his ‘inspirational’ mother Kathleen.

Taking to Instagram, Imelda admitted that she couldn’t be more excited now that the show has kicked off.
