Tara O’Farrell has shared a sweet tribute to her little boy as he turns four month’s old.
The makeup artist and social media star took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of her and baby Gene.
“4 months of Gene!” she said.
She also expressed how lucky she feels to have her little boy and opened up about what she has learned in the last few months.
“I have so much to be thankful for and am truly blessed to have such a happy boy! I shared a quote months ago in the early days of becoming a mum: ‘Being a mother is learning about strengths you never knew you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed.'”
She added: “Gene has made feel emotions I never felt before, an extreme happiness, a deep deep love that can be overwhelming sometimes, he is my world! Fears I never knew existed, I have felt fear and have felt guilt and I have had the days where I need to call my mum, sister or talk to Daniel because I don’t have the answers to it all!”
Tara also explained how she has gotten advice and help from other parents and her family.
“Someone said to me last week as a mother of an 18-year-old that you never have the answers to it all.. every stage is new and you are always learning, adapting and growing together. So simple but such a comfort because I do think we tend to put so much pressure on ourselves, we are all so much more alike then we are unalike and we are all doing our best each and everyday and that’s all we can do! We got this!”
Tara and her husband Daniel Anderson welcomed their first child back in June.
