Emily Ratajkowski is a big fan of Ireland.

The stunning model regularly visits the country as her parents have a holiday home in Cork.

This didn’t stop fans from being totally shocked when she took to social media to celebrate a small basketball team’s win.

Taking to Twitter she wrote: “Congratulations Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai – All Ireland champions!”

Emily often shares social media posts on her love of Ireland.

She previously spoke about her love of Irish pubs and her childhood in Ireland.

“I go back any time I get the opportunity and I have many friends who I still hang out with in the local pubs. I have great childhood memories cow-tipping, going off and getting lost in the bog for hours and coming home covered in dirt.”

She added: “I love the pubs – the fact that you can find all ages there. It’s so easygoing, an old man could be dancing with a young girl having a bit of fun and no one bats an eyelid. It’s so relaxed and everyone is so friendly. I’m more of a Smithwick’s or Bulmer’s girl than a pint of Guinness.”

We love to see huge international celebrities using a big of Gaeilge on social media, sharing the language with their huge audiences.

Just last month, iconic drag queen RuPaul shared a lengthy Irish tweet.

It became so popular that it was even made into a t-shirt, could this happen for Em, too?
