Doireann Garrihy has revealed more details about her exciting new show.
The star is known for her impressions and comedy and she is now set to incorporate that into a project for RTE Player.
Doireann first mention the show back in August but it now seems that it’s finally getting off the ground.
She was told this week that another writer would be joining her in creating the show.
“I’m working on a comedy pilot with RTÉ Player and I got news last week – originally, it was going to be myself writing it and kind of putting it together – I have another comedy writer who is female, which I’m very excited about.” she told RTE.
She also added that she now has an idea of when the project will air.
“So yeah, getting cracking with that and hopefully we’ll have stuff filmed and up on the player before Christmas.”
The snapchat star previously spoke to VIP Magazine about her plans to make something with RTE but wasn’t as sure of the details.
“It’s a pilot for RTE player, so it’ll be online and I’ve been working on it for a few months now,” she said.
“It’s still very much up in the air, we’re trying to figure out whether we’ll get another writer on board or if it’ll just be me, or if it’s a one-woman show or we’ll get other actors.
“It’s all up in air at the moment, I’m kind of glad that we’re taking out time with it, I’d rather take my time and get it right than rush it and get it wrong, so it’s all going good.”
It seems that the project is now coming to life and we can’t wait to see it!
