Darren Kennedy uses his platform to promote small business with a 60 second pitch

If there’s one thing we’re all trying to do at the moment it’s help small businesses. Setting up your own business is something that takes a lot of bravery and hard work, so it’s difficult to see so many of them on their knees right now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Darren Kennedy has just launched an initiative on his Instagram to help small businesses struggling at the moment.

Titled the ’60 second Pitch’ it’s a way for small business owners to show off their company to a larger audience.

“I want to shine a light on brilliant small businesses and self-starters , and give them the opportunity to reach new audiences,” Darren said.

The concept is very simple, over the next six weeks Darren will give one business a week a chance to take over his Instagram, where they’ll be given 60 seconds (this is four Instagram stories) to pitch their business.

“What you do with those frames to get your story across is up to you. The more interesting, personal and engaging the pitch the better!”

With almost 56 thousand followers on his account, it’s sure to have a massive reach.
