It’s that time of year again, when the kids head back to school and the house starts to feel that little bit emptier. Amy Huberman sent her youngest off to big school for the first time this week and to say it was an emotional one is an understatement.
The actress took to Instagram to share a sweet message after her youngest Ted, headed off to school for the very first time.

She wrote: “My youngest housemate has headed off to make some pals and find some like minded small humans to have deep and meaningfuls with about the first three letters of the alphabet and whether green play dough is absolutely better than yellow.🥺💙 .”
Friends and followers headed to the comments to leave some hilarious yet heartwarming words of wisdom for Amy.

The Irish writer shares three kids with her husband Brian O’Driscoll, who she married on July 2nd 2010.
The couple are parents to a daughter and two sons. Their daughter, Sadie is ten years old. While the boys, Billy and Ted are eight and three respectively.
