Former Love/Hate star Mary Murray has opened up about her role in the upcoming series of Bridget and Eamon.
The Irish actress is set to make a cameo appearance in the comedy when it returns to RTE this winter.
Mary’s character will whirl into town, turning Bridget’s life upside-down.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she said, “It was brilliant fun. It was just such good craic! You’re laughing all day on the set. There are so many comedians and comedy actors involved and all they do is make jokes all day.
“It’s great, and the character was brilliant fun to play as well. I’m just a guest character for one episode. It interferes with Bridget’s life anyway and causes a lot of upheaval for her. It was a lot of fun to do!”
Following the massive success of the show in Ireland, it’s now being aired in the US and UK, gaining major popularity across the pond.
Just yesterday, US actress Hannah Simone revealed she’s a massive fan of the show and urged her international followers to tune in.
“If you like laughing ’till you can’t breathe, watch this show. You’re welcome,” she said alongside a photo of Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea in character.
High praise indeed!
