Irish actor Chris Walley picked up a prestigious acting award last night.
The star won best supporting actor for his role in The Lieutenant of Inishmore.
He starred alongside Charlie Murphy and Aidan Turner in the Martin McDonagh play.
The 24-year-old played Davey in the play which is set in the Aran Islands as the Northern Ireland peace process gets underway. The play follows Padraic, who is part of the INLA, a splinter group of the IRA, whose methods prove too extreme and violent for the group.
Chris stared in the West End production of the well-known play last year.
The actor’s Young Offenders co-star Alex Murphy took to Twitter to congratulate his friend.
