Saoirse Ronan was presenting at the SAG Awards last night, but very nearly missed the opportunity.
The Irish star was nowhere to be seen as the music began to play, but despite missing her initial cue, rushed to the stage eventually.
The actress was clearly flustered when she reached the podium to announce the winner of the Best Male in a Supporting Role award – which went to Idris Elba.
“Well that went well… I was having my water backstage,” she said. “Having a great time looking at Straight Outta Compton! Well anyways, hi gang.”
Unfortunately, Saoirse missed out on the gong for Best Female Actress on the night for her role in Brooklyn, but hopefully the starlet will have better luck when it comes to the Oscars.
