It’s been revealed just how much RTE have spent on hotel stays for guests that have appeared on The Late Late Show and The Ray D’Arcy Show over the last year.
The National Broadcaster forked out a whopping €50,000 on luxury Dublin hotels, including the 5-star Conrad and Dylan hotels.
Figures were released following a request to The Freedom Of Information Act, and they revealed that €30,400 was spent on Late Late Show guests, while a further €18,850 was used for guests of The Ray D’Arcy Show.
Although RTE didn’t pay the advertised rates, a one night stay at The Conrad could cost between €387 and €1,913, depending on the room type. The Dylan can range between €229 and €569.
Four other hotels were contracted by RTE, the Radisson Blu in Stillorgan, the Ballsbridge Hotel in D4, Bewley’s Hotel in Ballsbridge, and the Stillorgan Park Hotel.
