It’s an exciting week for Cecelia Ahern, as her latest book The Marble Collector hits shelves tomorrow, but it’s just been revealed that another one of her books is heading to the big screen!
Following the success of Love Rosie and PS I Love You, Hollywood producers are keen to work with her for another recreation, this time with her book Flawed.
Warner Brothers have optioned the rights to the film, and Wendy Finerman, the woman behind the likes of PS I Love You, Forrest Gump and The Devil Wears Prada, will be producing the movie.
Flawed is the first young adult novel by Cecelia, and will be published next April.
The author posted on Twitter, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have some AMAZING news. I’ve been dying to share this for months. Are you ready?”
She celebrated the news with Yvonne Connolly, who’s over the moon for her best friend.
“Sitting having lunch with my bestie Cecelia,” Yvonne said on Twitter. “I’m so proud of her!”
