“Worth every single injection and bruise…” Rosanna Davison recalls surrogacy journey

Rosanna Davison has recalled the surrogacy journey she embarked on this time last year.

The model and mum-of-one welcomed baby Sophia to the world by gestational surrogate in November and has opened up about the experience on social media.

Rosanna recalled the moment she and her husband Wes Quirke “flew to Kiev to begin the IVF part of our surrogacy journey.”

“And today,” she continued, “I flew home to our 10-week old baby girl.”

Rosanna has been open about her fertility struggles with Wes, but continuously urges couples not to give up hope on their dreams of becoming parents.

“It was worth every single injection and bruise a million times over, to have Sophia now,” the proud mum gushed. “We’re so lucky. Never give up hope!”

The nutritionist and author recently shared an adorable snap of baby Sophia gearing up to support the Irish rugby team.

Before heading to the Aviva Stadium to watch Ireland versus Scotland, the former Miss World shared a picture of Sophia wrapped in an Ireland scarf!

Speaking on social media about the couple’s decision not to show Sophia’s face to the public, Rosanna revealed that “we want to try to give her the same experience we had as a child growing up, with no internet or social media.”

Rosanna affirmed: “Everything we do now is to give her the happiest, healthiest life.”

How cute is this little family?!
