While there may have been no elimination this week, the pressure was still on for our eight remaining celebrities as they battled to win immunity from next week’s dance-off.
Yes, the couple who topped the leaderboard with both the judge’s scores and public votes combined were spared from the dreaded soon-to-be dance-off.
Speaking earlier about the news, judge Brian Redmond said: “Next week is the moment that I love. The dance-off comes next week.
“There is a lot to play for.”

While Judge Arthur Gourounlian added: “Whoever wins the immunity goes straight through to week eight.”
So, which celebrity came out on top?
Well, Davy Russell and his partner Kylee Vincent were the lucky couple who were saved from next week’s elimination.
This automatically means that they are through to week eight.
On tonight’s show, David honoured his wife, Edelle by dancing Contemporary Ballroom to Roar by Katy Perry.
The pair received praise all around with Loraine Barry even adding that their performance was “superb”.
They scored a total of 26 points.
“I’m delighted,” he told hosts Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy. “Unexpcted but the dance just sat right!”
