Lewis Capaldi has cancelled Electric Picnic after having a tough few months due to struggles with his mental health and Tourette’s syndrome.
The Glaswegian had trouble singing live at his Glastonbury performance, which made headlines as the audience sang the lyrics for him in a moving display of support and love.
Releasing a statement that he will be taking a break from performing for the foreseeable, the singer was met with an outpouring of understanding comments, including from those due to see him at the Irish festival in September.
Love from n
Ireland 🇮🇪. Sorry we won’t see you at EP, but therell be other concerts. Take great care of yourself.— K Ní Dhuinn. No DMs ever!! (@dunnemrs1) June 27, 2023
Now, Electric Picnic goers are wondering who might step up to replace him. Some fans had speculated that fellow headliner Niall Horan would make an appearance during Lewis’ set, and are now wondering if he may do a double bill.
Others are making guesses (and wishes) of who might play, from Harry Styles (can you imagine?!) to Picture This.
My predictions based on extensive research is Sam Fender or Mumford and Sons or If not they’ll get Picture This or DK to fill the gap

Gutted for @LewisCapaldi and not being able to headline EP this year, but his health and mental health is obviously more important.
For pure selfish reasons, now my fave is off the bill, I am channelling @Harry_Styles or @macklemore to fill the headline slot…

I’d say the Electric Picnic organisers are defrosting Picture This as we speak with Lewis Capaldi pulling out

Who do you think will show up in place of the Bruises singer? We can’t wait to find out!
And while he takes some time out, we’re wishing Lewis all of our love.
