TV3’s Living With Lucy returned to our screens last night after a five year break. It saw host Lucy Kennedy hopping the pond to South Hampton to live with Republic of Ireland player Shane Long, his beautiful wife Kayleah and their two gorgeous daughters Teigan and Erin.
On last night’s episode viewers saw a side to Shane that isn’t often seen by the public. He showed his soft side by talking lovingly about his family to Lucy, and audiences learned that Shane’s real number one fans are his little girls.
Also on last night’s series debut, Lucy learned that Shane has a hidden talent- he’s a very talented musician. Kayleah told the 40-year-old presenter that the girls love it when he sings and plays the guitar, and they like to dance along.
Later in the programme, cameras caught a peak at Shane singing Say Hello by fellow Irish man Gavin James, and we have to say, he gave him a run for his money with that voice.
Lucy even got emotional while watching the adorable moment between the dad-of-two and his little ones, as they helped him sing along.
“Shane Long! Well we know what you’re doing when you retire, holy moly. So cute, I actually felt a bit emotional watching the girls dance. It was a lovely moment. Well done you,” she said.
When VIP Magazine spoke exclusively to Lucy last month she told us that she loved living with the Long family, and that they were genuinely nice people.
“Shane was great. He’s a really nice guy, really genuine and normal and Irish- just like us!
“I mean he has an amazing lifestyle, gorgeous house that was fab and very glam but he’s very unaffected and just really genuine. I actually left thinking ‘I’ll miss them’. They’re really nice people, a really good family,” she said.
We wish Lucy could come and live with us!
