Westlife star Shane Filan has sadly lost his mother, Mae.
The mother of seven died peacefully on Sunday December 15th, in the care of the staff of North West Hospice in County Sligo.
Mae will be reposing at the family home in at Carlton Lodge, Carrowroe in Sligo, on Monday, December 16, from 4pm to 8pm.
Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 17, in St Anne’s Church and burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery.
Speaking of the sad news, Shane paid tribute to his ‘incredible’ mother, while thanking the public for their support.
