Ireland’s Eurovision entry Sarah McTernan has failed to qualify for Saturday’s live final.
The 25-year-old Dubliner took to the stage in Tel Aviv last night for the second of the two live semi finals, performing her song, 22 – but unfortunately failed to make the cut.
Ten of the 18 hopefuls who performed last night qualified for Saturday nights final, and Sarah says that despite missing out, she’s happy with her performance.
“I felt really happy in myself,” Sarah told the press following the performance.
“One thing I just wanted to look back was just to be happy and comfortable with my performance myself and you know what? I was happy.
“All of the team worked so hard and they’re absolutely incredible and things don’t always go your way but we’re looking on the bright side and we’re happy.”
The live finals will be shown on RTE 2 at 8pm.
