Niall Horan has won his first solo accolade at the People’s Choice Awards in America.
The Mullingar man took home the title of Favourite Breakout Artist, beating out the likes of his former One Direction bandmate, Zayn Malik.
Niall debuted his first solo track in September of last year, much to the delight of fans around the world, and was absolutely thrilled to have won in his category.
Taking to social media, he said, “Well that’s something to wake up to. Thank you so much for voting for me. I really appreciate it. Amazing!”
Elsewhere, the Irish star posted a super sweet message to mark his X Factor anniversary this weekend. The Mullingar native entered the singing competition at the tender age of 16.
