I’m not a big self tan user. I love feeling bronzed, and I am consistently looking to get a bit of sun on my face. But I’ve never been one to clear my evening, sit down, and do a full self tan.
That goes for my face too. That gorgeous glow is usually achieved from cosmetics, a radiant primer or a streak of highlight. When I’m fresh faced, I generally accept that my skin is going to be looking, well, a bit dull.
But then I tried Cocoa Brown’s Sunshine Serum on my face, and all I can say is – wow.
The new product – that comes in beautiful, minimalist packaging – is part of Cocoa Brown’s new range of self tanning serums and it’s safe to say it’s going to become part of my regular beauty routine.
Sunshine Serum is a gorgeous mix of self tan and skincare. A fusion of hydration, peptides, and radiance leaves your skin looking bronzed, but also feeling silky smooth too. It was honestly just like using one of my regular serums, except I knew that I’d be looking radiant in a few hours.
Just a few pumps of the face serum and I was done. The entire process was so quick and easy – which I was particularly grateful for given my hectic schedule.
The product takes between 6-8 hours to fully develop, and comes in two shades, medium and dark. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid, which deeply hydrates and revitalises the skin, while rejuvenating peptides combat fine lines and wrinkles.
My skin is generally quite dry, but a few pumps of Sunshine Serum and it was feeling fully hydrated. It just kept getting better and better!
When my tan was fully developed I couldn’t get over the result. Even without makeup, my face had a natural looking bronze glow. I could’ve been just back from my holidays – who could tell the difference?!
It’s safe to say this product is taking up a permanent spot in my makeup bag this spring. Just gorgeous.
