How exciting?!
We finally know when Nicola Coughlan’s new show is landing on Channel 4.
The Irish actress wrapped filming Big Mood earlier this year, but without an air date in sight, fans were left wondering when they’d get to feast their eyes on the new show.
Now, we know that it’s going to be coming to our screens in 2024 – hooray!
Nicola took to Instagram this week to share the news, as well as a new poster for the comedy drama.
“BIG MOOD,” she wrote. “Coming 2024. In the words of @camillavalerie and I- “Unfortunately, it is a perfect show”.”

Nicola also took to her Stories to apologise to her fans about not being able to share more about her upcoming projects.
“Guys if you think you can’t wait for things I’ve filmed to come out in 2024 I totally get you, I feel the same!” she said.
“I’m not allowed to share anything until the powers that be give me the ok. Very excited to share everything with you once I’m allowed.”
Big Mood is about two young women trying to navigate life, and is “set to explore the nuances of female friendship when threatened by the complexities of serious mental illness.
“A series of chaotic events put Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie’s (Lydia West) decade-long friendship to the test.
“With the pair at a pivotal point in their lives, and Maggie’s bipolar disorder making an unwelcome return, Eddie begins to question whether this friendship is really in their best interests.”
It’s safe to say we cannot wait to watch.
