UK comedian Michael McIntyre has mortified Ronan Keating by sending an embarrassing text to everyone in his phone book.
The English funnyman left Ronan red-faced after he stole his phone and sent a message to all his pals as part of the Send To All segment on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
He projected Ronan’s phone onto a big screen, and typed, “Feeling a little insecure. Do you still think I’m hot? I mean Harry Styles, Bieber and that guy who plays Poldark… Can I still compete with these guys?”
Ronan’s phone was inundated with replies – which only added to his embarrassment.
James Blunt replied, “Ronan, you are the king. They are all cheap imitations of you. You will always be No.1. PS – we should be together.”
Russell Crowe wasn’t to be fooled as he said “Haha! Someone’s got your phone mate!”
However it was actress Amanda Abbington who stole the show, as she wasn’t even sure who was texting her. “Is this that guy from Westlife?” she said.
The show airs each Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
