TV fans are in for a treat this February as a brand-new comedy-drama, These Sacred Vows, prepares to hit screens.
The six-part series will debut on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Sunday, 1 February, and boasts an impressive Irish cast.
Leading the ensemble are Love/Hate’s Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Derry Girls star Justine Mitchell, The Man in the High Castle’s Jason O’Mara and Normal People actor India Mullen.
Directed by award-winning Irish filmmaker John Butler, These Sacred Vows is set around an Irish destination wedding in Spain, a sun-soaked week of day-drinking and chaotic nights where buried fears, jealousy and desire inevitably rise to the surface.

The series opens the morning after the wedding, when the body of a priest is discovered floating face-down in the swimming pool of the guests’ villa.
Over six episodes, the story jumps back in time to revisit the explosive events of the previous week, each episode unfolding from a different character’s perspective.
Tom Vaughan-Lawlor stars as Fr Vincent, with Justine Mitchell as mother-of-the-bride Sandra and Jason O’Mara as father-of-the-bride Jerry.
The supporting cast includes Adam John Richardson (Vikings: Valhalla, The Dry), Tom Hanson (Brassic, The Outlaws), Jade Auguste (His Dark Materials, Trauma), Aaron Heffernan (Brassic, Femme) and Aoife Hinds (Normal People, Dune: Prophecy).
Irish comedians Shane Daniel Byrne and Catherine Bohart also feature.
And now, with the trailer finally here, audiences are getting their first taste of the drama to come.
So, if you’re already on the hunt for something new and gripping to binge, These Sacred Vows might just be the perfect answer.
