Niall Horan took took to the field in Old Trafford last night along with a host of other famous faces and football legends for Soccer Aid 2016.
The One Direction singer went head to head with bandmate Louis Tomlinson as well as some other well known faces including; Ben Shephard, Jamie Theakston, John Bishop, Jonathan Wilkes, Mark Wright, Marvin Humes, Olly Murs and Paddy McGuinness.
However, the game didn’t exactly go to plan for the Mullingar native although he had been practising hard all week, he narrowly missed out on winning after Louis’ team won 3-2.
As if that wasn’t enough of the blow for the star, Niall was also tackled on the pitch by football manager Sam Allardyce.
Luckily, Niall took saw the funny side the playful banter and he looked overjoyed to be in the presence of such a football legend.
The stars raised a massive £5.4 million for UNICEF -well done boys!
