Last night saw Michael Lyster sign off for his very last year of The Sunday Game, and he went out with a bang!
The veteran broadcaster, along with GAA President John Horan, were on stage at The Gibson Hotel in Dublin, where the Dublin senior football team were celebrating their fourth successive All-Ireland win, when a ceiling leak gave way, with water falling down into the decorated function room.
Jack McCaffery, who was on stage to receive his Man of the Match award, looked as shocked as everyone else at the hilarious live tv gaffe.
Ever the pro, Michael handled the situation by quickly cutting back to the studio, but viewers were quick to get the bizarre moment trending on twitter.

That turned out to be one of the most prolonged hand shakes between Michael and Jack when the water was coming from no where #SundayGame
