Dublin singer Dermot Kennedy has done the Irish proud once again, performing on major American chat show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Taking to the ‘stage’ alongside Italian trio Meduza to perform their hit track ‘Paradise’, Dermot wowed the audience with his vocals in an outdoors pre-recorded performance.
Dermot has been going from strength to strength, with his song ‘Paradise’ quickly making it to number one here in Ireland, making him the first Irish artist to do so in five years. Sharing his gratitude with his friends at the time, Dermot tweeted:
“Thank you so so much for getting Paradise to Number 1 in Ireland. It is not lost on me to be the first Irish artist to do that in five years. It means so much to me. I want to say thank you to Meduza for having me on their song, on such a beautiful track. Thank you for the support.”
The musician’s performance on the Ellen DeGeneres show isn’t his first, however, as he previously lit up the stage with a rendition of his iconic ‘Power Over Me’ back in 2019.
