Saoirse Ronan is known for her huge roles in films like Brooklyn, The Lovely Bones and Atonement, but everyone has to start somewhere.
Long before her Hollywood fame, and Oscar nomination for Lady Bird, the Carlow native stared in an ad for Community Games.
“It’s good to take part in these kinds of things and it could be your career in 20 years time,” wise little Saoirse said.
Little did she know, she was kind-of right, being in front of the camera is in fact her career, and it certainly didn’t take her twenty years!
