Ed Sheeran has revealed he’s shooting a music video in Ireland, and is looking for locals to get involved.
The UK star will be holding an open casting for his upcoming video, as he’s looking for Irish dancers to feature.
Speaking to Eoghan McDermott on his 2FM radio show, Ed said, “I will be doing it, because I need proper ceili dancers.”
An Irish theme will run through his new music as not only will he be shooting a video here, but he’s also been working with an Irish trad band on one of the tracks.
He said, “I’ve got a trad band called Beoga. They’re actually from Belfast, but they’ve – it’s a fiddle, a pipe, a bodhrán and piano. And we really jam.
“It’s going to be good. I do think I’ll never be able to play another song in Ireland again because this will be the song
“I’m going to drop a couple of other songs before the album comes out – it might be one of them.
“I should be over there soon so I guess when I’m over there I’ll put something out.”
We can’t wait to hear it.
