The nude look is a go-to for many when it comes to makeup. With the summer months approaching, it’s nice to pare it back slightly and opt for a more subtle style.
VIP Magazine spoke to Holly Rafter from Inglot, and she filled us in on how we can create this popular look ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that it was much easier than we originally thought!
“To achieve that natural barely there make-up look I always prep the skin first with our Inglot refreshing face mists and actually work it into the skin using our beauty blender. This helps prep the skin and hydrate it.
“I then use a primer to suit the skin in question, personally I love the HD primers as they are amazing for neutralizing any discolourations in the skin. I love building coverage on the skin so always use a light or medium coverage foundation for this. We also have a new amazing Inglot product – Beautifiers tinted cream, coming soon! They are a tinted moisturiser and are perfect to build up on the skin and create that barely there make-up look.
“Powder wise, I don’t use anything heavy as this will make the skin look heavy and over worked on, so I use our HD loose powders. These are beautiful on the skin as they are super lightweight and have illuminating particles in them. Adding a soft bronzer to the skin instead of harsh contouring and a pop of a peachy toned blush is perfect to finish off this look. For the highlighter lovers, I use our Inglot freedom system highlighters as they just give the right amount of glow.
“To finish off the look, pop our brow mascaras through the brows to give a natural fluffy brow and use our gorgeous lip paints on the lips. Our lip paints are a mix between a gloss and lipstick so they are super creamy and give a high shine effect to the lip. My go to nude shades are 51 and 53.”
