Vogue Williams revealed the shocking measures she took to shame a vicious online troll on last night’s Late Late Show.
The DJ joined Ryan to chat about her upcoming RTE2 show Vogue Williams on the Edge, but talk about the the programme got quickly side tracked when Ryan brought up last week’s discovery of a porn site using photoshopped images of RTE stars.
Vogue was one of many Irish celebrities whose picture was edited onto pornographic images for an adult website. The 31-year-old wrote about the site and how she felt about it in her weekly Sunday World column, which resulted in her being harassed by a keyboard warrior.
“After I wrote my Sunday World column about the the adult site using the photoshopped images, someone commented on my Instagram saying ‘If you dress like a wh**e, you should be treated like a wh**e’.” she said.
The tv star couldn’t help but respond to the comment and ended up going to extreme measures to teach the troll a lesson.
“I couldn’t believe someone just said that to me, so I responded and said ‘do you know how wrong that is?'” she said.
“And then he said something else back, I blocked him, took a screen grab and posted it on Twitter saying, ‘Can you believe someone would speak to a woman like this?’ and within 10 minutes the account had been cancelled so, he’s a goner!”
Well done, Vogue!
