Vogue Williams is set to take over presenting RTÉ’s travel show, Getaways while the show’s regular host Mairead Ronan is on maternity leave.
The model is no stranger to the odd presenting gig but this show will allow her to showcase her talents to a much wider audience.
A source revealed to the Irish Mail On Sunday that they believe the 30-year-old will be the perfect fit for the show while Mairead’s on maternity leave, but they assure that she will be returning to her presenting role as soon as she’s finished her leave.
“Vogue is currently getting ready to head to Cyprus and will also film a holiday in the Algarve,” They said.
“She is the perfect person to fill in for Mairead, who has filmed the bulk of the new series. This is very much a temporary thing and Mairead Ronan is still the host, but it was great to have the opportunity to have someone of Vogue’s draw and calibre to take part in the series.
“I think she will help us reach a different audience and her bubbly personality will resonate with viewers.”
