It seems that expectant mums cant catch a break when it comes to judgement from others.
Vogue Williams has revealed that she’s been fat-shamed by people on the internet while pregnant.
The model and TV presenter took to social media to reveal that she has chosen not to take the ridiculous comments too seriously.
“I actually just have to laugh at the people fat shaming me. I’m seven months PREGNANT, the online world is a nasty little place,” she said.
Vogue went on to say that she will embrace her growing figure: “Myself and my larger body are very happy and look forward to getting even bigger.”
Fans and followers were shocked to hear that the stunning star had been body shamed.
“Fat shaming! You don’t even look seven months pregnant I look more pregnant than you!” one man said.
“What! Fat shaming you! What’s wrong with their eyes? They must be deluded!!!” Lorna Murphy added.
“Fat shaming?? Are these people struggling with their sight!? You look unreal! My baby is almost 2 & I am still trying to get in shape! I was HUGE when pregnant, he was a BIG baby. What is wrong with people!?? #pathetic” Fiona Barrett said.
This is sadly not the first time Vogue has been mum-shamed during her pregnancy.
Early on in the journey, she was criticised for working out too much while expecting, with people claiming it was dangerous for the baby.
And while this time around she’s being fat shamed, on other occasions people have taken issue with how small her bump is.
Others took issue with her enjoying a holiday to which she replied: “Don’t be a hater, negativity suits nobody. I’m going to enjoy my four day holiday before I start working non stop until July 6th.”
The star is expecting her first child with Spencer Mathews in early September.
