In her new book, entitled, Big Mouth, Vogue not only talks about the “very difficult” death but also her time spent on reality shows to marrying and divorcing a member of Westlife.

“Losing parents at any age is a ball of s**t, but it happens to all of us,” she begins.

“I lost my Dad when I was in my 20’s and it was very difficult.”

Describing how “he died of fun,” Vogue explained: “Because he was always out drinking and smoking, having the absolute time of his life with zero concern for his health.

“The man used to put butter on his chips and have four consecutive takeaways a week,” she added.

Previously speaking with Anna Richardson on the It Can’t Just Be Me podcast, Vogue explained how she, along with other members of her family, convinced her dad to have an elective surgery which led to him suffering a stroke, ultimately causing his death.

She said that after the surgery, although her dad came to, she knew almost immediately that something was very wrong.

“I was talking to him he was saying weird stuff to me like he wouldn’t ever say to me. And then it turned out he’d had a stroke on his brain.” Freddie was then put into an induced coma, and tragically never woke up.

“I think I felt guilt for like a good few years after it. I didn’t know that my aunty was trying to convince him to do it as well, so I thought I was convincing him to go for the operation, when then I was like, “God, he could have had the summer’.”

Vogue Williams’ autobiography Big Mouth is set to be released in May 2025.
