Vogue Williams is turning her back on Ireland for a little while as she jets off to America to film her new TV show.
She is currently shooting a series called Mean Girls for RTE, where she will be meeting women from all walks of life, including those in prison. While over in California, Vogue will do her best to meet as many women who are serving time, and hear their stories.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Vogue said, “It’s a really fascinating show. I’m going to LA soon and I never thought I’d say this, but I’m hoping to make it onto death row. It’s really quite hard to gain access, but I’m also going to try and stay overnight in a prison.”
She went on to say, “It’s just for a couple of weeks because I have to shoot another part of the series back here, but I’m looking forward to it.”
Despite spending so much time stateside, Vogue has no plans to make a more permanent move, even in light of her recent break-up with Brian.
“I’ve no plans to move to the US. I’m happy travelling over and back between London and Dublin,” she said.
