Vogue Williams has been forced to pull out of Channel 4’s The Jump, after sustaining a serious injury.
The 31-year-old has been vigorously training for the celebrity snow sport show in Austria over the past number of weeks, but her time on the programme has unfortunately come to an end, after she fell and hurt her knee.
The model was taken to a local hospital after the fall, and following an examination, doctors told her it wouldn’t be safe for her to stay in the competition.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said, “Vogue fell during training for ski cross injuring her knee, which sadly means she can no longer continue in the competition.”
Vogue took to Twitter last night to express her regret over being forced to pull out, but assured fans if the show is back next year, she will be returning in fighting form.
“Really disappointed to be out of The Jump. I’ve had the time of my life and if the show is back next year I’ll be in it to win it!” she wrote.
The Jump is renowned as being one of the most “dangerous shows” on television, after seven out of twelve celebrities sustained serious injuries on last year’s show.
We wish Vogue a very speedy recovery – and can’t wait to see her return to the show next year!
