This is one of the most jam packed weekends we’ve seen in a while. Whether you’re a music, food or just general fun lover you’re guaranteed to have the time of your life.
Body and Soul
As usual, Body and Soul is one of the most highly anticipated festivals of the summer and this year is set to be one of its best yet! The event is packed full of some of the best DJs around, but we hate to break it to you – if you if you don’t have a ticket you’ll just have to observe the festival through a social media lens, because the tickets are all sold out! We’ll keep you posted with any noteworthy happenings throughout the weekend if you’re not lucky enough to be an attendee.
Taste of Dublin
Taste of Dublin is back and better than ever. This year is takes place from the 16th-19th June in the idyllic surroundings of the Iveagh Gardens. There will be a range of some of Ireland’s best know restaurants showcasing their best produce including.; Soder and Ko, Saba, The Green Hen and Claw. There’ll also alcoholic beverages galore, so our advice is to make a night of it and leave the car at home! Tickets are priced between €15-€27.50 and you can buy them here.
Cocktail making at KOH
If festivals just aren’t your thing but you’re still looking to unwind after a hard week’s work why not head to Thai/Asian restaurant, KOH on Jervis Street for some delicious food followed by an enchanting cocktail making class. Brunch in The Happy Pear
This place needs no introduction but just in case you haven’t heard of it get down to The Happy Pear in Greystones -stat! The Happy Pear is one of the healthiest spots to eat in the country and they make healthy taste so good! The vegan restaurant is owned and run by two of the chirpiest guys around, David and Stephen Flynn and they want to get people eating more veg at very reasonable prices. So, why not bring your dad down for the ultimate Father’s Day brunch? You won’t regret it!
The Secret Life of Pets Exhibition
Film base in Dublin will be hosting Petography: The Secret Life of Pets Exhibition this weekend. The quirky antics of some of Ireland’s best-loved celebrity pets have been revealed in a special petography exhibition that captures what the country’s A-list pets get up to when their famous owners aren’t at home. So, if you ever want to know what Holly Carpenter or Kathryn Thomas’ dogs get up to when they’re away look no further. It’s all in aid of the ISPCA, a great cause!
