Longford lady Maura Higgins was praised for supporting Glow Up Ireland contestants after they found themselves in the ‘red chair’ on the show.
Maura’s new show Glow Up Ireland was released on Wednesday and follows aspiring make-up artists as they compete in challenges with a panel of celebrity guests.
The contestant who loses the challenge must sit in the ‘red chair’, giving them 15 minutes less than their competitors to complete the next challenge. Laura Brady found herself in this position on Wednesday night’s show.

Maura, being the queen she is, did not like seeing Laura upset and went over to lift her spirits with a pep talk. She was close to giving up when Maura approached her with a hug and kind words.
The former Love Island star sees that Laura needs to get back in the zone and reminds her, “You’ve been selected from hundreds and hundreds of people. You’re a talented woman. You need to remember that”.
“Being in the red chair, it doesn’t really mean anything, you can still pull this back. You just need to believe in yourself. You can do this, just put your mind to it, smiles and positivity!,” she continued.
Viewers of the show were quick to praise Maura for her amazing show of support. With one saying, “She is great for hyping her up”, and another saying “What a ledge!”.
And what a ledge she is, we love our girl Maura!
Speaking of glow ups, have you heard STELLAR’s brilliant podcast where they had the name first hehe for all things beauty and chats!
