Viewers were overcome with emotion last night, as the final episode of Brendan Grace’s RTE documentary aired.
The three-part series was supposed to follow Brendan and the Forget-Me-Nots choir as they worked together to put on a show in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, but while filming, he was diagnosed with cancer.

Earlier this summer, the legendary comedian sadly passed away, but with the help of his family and celebrity pals, the concert went ahead.
Taking to social media in their droves, viewers honoured the late star, and praised his nearest and dearest for all they’ve done over the last few months.
Such a lovely tribute to Brendan Grace tonight. The love he had for his family and all the people. We will miss him. A true gentleman. Thanks for the memories Brendan

A huge thanks to the family of the legendary Brendan Grace for sharing the documentary “Thanks for the Memories” with us. Heartbreaking that he never got to be part of the show. He would have been so proud of the Forget Me Not choir and of his family. What a wonderful celebration
