Yes, the proud Dubliner will lead the parade through the streets of Dublin City on 17 March, for what’s promised to be quite the celebration.

Victoria most recently starred in the Disney+ drama Rivals, alongside Aidan Turner and David Tennant, and was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs).

Speaking about being appointed Grand Marshal, Victoria admitted that she was “absolutely thrilled and deeply honoured”.

“I still can’t believe it! I’m so grateful to be part of this incredible celebration.

“I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at home and those joining us from around the globe,” she added.

The parade is set to begin at noon, starting from Parnell Square on the north side of the city. It will then make its way down O’Connell Street, cross O’Connell Bridge, and continue through the south side before concluding at the Cuffe Street/Kevin Street junction.

The St. Patrick’s Festival will run from March 15 to 17, with this year’s theme being Eachtraí—the Irish word for adventures—symbolizing the unique spirit of Ireland and its people.

Dozens of events will also take place throughout the weekend, including Céilí Mór le Dearbhla Lennon, a large-scale outdoor celebration of traditional Irish dance, music, and language, inviting people of all backgrounds to take part.

We can’t wait!
