An up-and-coming Irish actor named Flynn Gray has joined the cast of the upcoming Star Wars film, Star Wars: Starfighter.
Walt Disney announced the young Dubliner’s casting, sharing a photo of him alongside Ryan Gosling, who will play the lead role in Starfighter, with the classic Star Wars vehicle, the Landspeeder, also in the shot.
How cool is that?!
The 14-year-old already has quite an impressive portfolio, having starred in the film Baltimore and the Irish TV series Borderline.

He also features in several episodes of the worldwide hit Netflix show, Wednesday.
Other actors joining the cast include Six-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams and Doctor Who star Matt Smith.
The movie, directed by Shawn Levy, has already begun production in the UK.
However, fans will sadly have to wait a while longer to see it on the big screen, as it is set for a 2027 release date.
Star Wars, dreamed up by George Lucas, has become one of the biggest film franchises ever.
Since the very first movie hit theatres back in 1977, the saga has raked in over $5 billion at the global box office.
Now, Disney says Starfighter will take fans somewhere completely new — a standalone story set in a part of the Star Wars timeline that’s never been explored on screen before.
How exciting!
