Una Healy is one of many many people who are very excited for the Spice Girls reunion which was announced this week.
The stunning star took to Instagram to share her excitement about the news, but she also revealed something else very interesting.
The 36-year-old explained that it was actually her manager Peter Loraine actually came up with the girl’s iconic spicy nicknames.
Peter, who now works with Fascination management was the editor of Top Of The Pops when he jokingly chose nicknames for Mel C, Mel B, Emma, Geri and Victoria.
“So excited for the @spicegirls reunion!” Una said.
“Ever wondered where they got their nicknames originally? It was my Manager Peter @fascinationmanagement who was editor of Top Of The Pops magazine in the 90s and he came up with this spice rack article and the rest is history! #legend #scary #baby #posh#ginger #sporty”
Some of the examples include Scary Spice being called so because she had ‘such a scary loud voice and a pierced tongue!’ and Geri Halliwell getting her nickname because she was ‘ginge on top with extra sauce!’
