A very exciting and busy time for Tipperary woman Una Healy. Having just been announced as one of three presenters co-hosting RTE’s Today Show, Una is also just released some brand new music.
Her recent single entitled ‘Say It All Again’ is proving to be a huge hit with fans already, however Una says that there are ups and downs with going solo. Admitting that she misses her former bandmates, she told Classic Hits Guaranteed Irish:
“I miss the company of the girls, I have to say. It was so much fun.”
“We had the best time. It was six years and it was amazing.”
Una was a member of The Saturdays which formed in the summer of 2007. Enjoying a solid 6 years together releasing singles, albums, and touring, the girls announced their hiatus in 2014.
Continuing on, Una also said that working solo comes with its benefits however much she misses The Saturday’s girls, one of those being how relaxed and comfortable she feels about creating her own music.
“I wouldn’t swap that for the world but it is nice to kind of..it is a bit more relaxing now just to be bringing out my own original songs again.”
