Una Healy has candidly opened up about being in a series of short-lived and toxic relationships following her divorce from ex-husband Ben Foden.
Speaking about her love life to host Vogue Williams on the Taboo Talk podcast, Una touched on her experience in relationships, her divorce from Ben, dealing with toxic partners as well as navigating separation when there are children involved.
Una and Ben were married for six years before their divorce in 2018.
They also share two children, Aoife Belle and Tadgh.

Chatting to Vogue, Una said: “I’ve had a couple of short-lived relationships that were toxic and the way they were treating me was making me feel so bad that this side of me was coming out.
“It doesn’t happen with friends, or people you’re around all the time so why is it just with this person? It’s because they’re doing it to you.
“They all do you a favour in the end though because they just tip you over the edge and you either break up with them or they break up with you, but you’re so much better off without them,” she added.
Una also opened up about how difficult she found her divorce, particularly when there are children involved.
“They were so young at the time and I think maybe that was a good thing that they were so young, they were 3 and 6,” she reflected.
“All they know is that that’s their life and this happened, but they had loads of friends who were in the same boat at the time.
“I remember saying to Aoife that we weren’t going to be together anymore and she said ‘Oh, so I’m going to be like my friends?’.”
At the end of the day, Una admitted that she had to put on a brave face, but felt lucky as she was surrounded by support from her friends.
