Jamie Dornan has revealed he will not be returning to 50 Shades of Grey to reprise his role as heartthrob Christian Grey.
The Irish actor shocked fans when he announced that he will not return to film the movie adaptation on E.L. James’ fourth novel, after dedicating so much of his life to filming the first three.
“We have done two movies back to back now, and I’m actually finished with it, I’ve done Fifty Shades forever,” he told The Sun. “I move on very fast in my mind. As much as from the outside people think you are synonymous with one character, but I’m very much like, ‘Right, that’s done’ and move on to the next project and worry about that character.”
We’ll certainly miss Jamie playing Christian Grey!
The Down native is currently promoting his upcoming flick with Cillian Murphy, Anthropoid – out in cinemas on the 9th September!
